Our Volunteer Team
Club 2000 is run entirely by volunteers - no one gets paid in this outfit! The Honorary Officers are:

The rest of the team are:
Ian Preece - Football Coach Extraordinaire.
Bob Bragg - Comedian and all round good egg.
Colin Foster - the other half of 'Bob'n'Col', hosts of our many discos.
Brian Morris - volunteer minibus driver.
Daniel Foster - will do most things - usually as long as they are connected with football!
Keith Jones - mainly football, relief minibus driver, husband of Debbie.
Debbie Jones - married to Keith . Came to Club as Keith's girl friend, became his fiance and then his wife! Somehow got roped in as a volunteer along the way.
Rose Morris - General Dogs Body, helps keep order in the swimming pool
Sarah Morris - the third of the Morris Clan to volunteer. Helps in the coffee bar most weeks.
Norman Cooper - husband of our Chairperson. Runs the coffee bar. With Sheila in charge he had no choice!
Margaret Bragg - responsible for The Bonus Ball and running the craft session. Good at scrounging odds and ends to get creative with.
Brian Lake - a parent who came to help and never went away again! Runs our short mat bowls session each week.
Sue Brothwood - another parent who came to lend a hand and never really went away again! Helps in the coffee bar when she can.
Marilyn Miatt - stalwart of the Committee. Parent of one of our members who came to lend her support and ended up on the Management Committee taking minutes at meetings.
Scott Winton - unofficial assistant treasurer! Is an absolute TREASURE on busy Thursday nights when he helps Hon. Treasurer Anne with the money and the fire register.
Peter Beasley - Scott's younger brother, helps when he can, and is also a relief volunteer minibusdriver.
Pauline Cooke - Pauline likes to help wherever help is needed, but tends to be a regular helper with our swimming session.
Howard Williams - doesn't know he's a volunteer, he just thinks he turns up on party nights to supply the music. As he doesn't get paid for doing it, he has to count as a vol!
NEW! NEW! NEW!
Bev McCarthy - Bev bravely stepped in to help us out in response to a plea for more volunteer drivers! Bev had never driven a minibus before in her life, but she was willing to give it a go! Well done Bev, and thanks!
Steph Shelvock - Sister of member Martyn Beckett. Steph also volunteered to have a go at minibus driving and, like Bev, had never, ever, driven one before! Steph felt sad when Martyn couldn't go to Club because there was no one to drive the bus to pick him up, she she decided to have a go herself. Well done. Both you and Bev are WONDERFUL!
All are Enhanced CRB checked, all come to Club regularly on Thursday nights. Most turn out to support our members to enjoy the outings and sports days. Known to let their hair down at the parties.
