Welcome to the home page of the Club 2000 web site. We are pleased to announce that Club's volunteer team has been awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, the highest, most prestigious award that is given to voluntary groups. As you can imagine, the volunteer team is thrilled to have been given such an accolade. You can find out more about this by clicking on the 'News' button on the left of your screen and scrolling down until you find 'Queens Award for Voluntary Service'.
As you browse through the pages by clicking on the link buttons, you should get some idea of who we are and what we do.
Providing sport and social activities for people with disabilities, Club 2000 started eleven years ago with 30 members and a dozen volunteers. Nowadays, there are 140 members and 26 volunteers! We're not sure, but we think we're the biggest club of it's kind in Shropshire. If you click on the 'About Us' button, you can read more about what we do. There are joining instructions on this page as well.
Clicking on the 'Gallery' button will take you to pictures of Club 2000 members and volunteers enjoying themselves on Club nights and on the outings and sports days that we go to.
'News and Views', the Club 2000 newsletter which goes out to all members, volunteers and other people who are interested in us and what we do gets sent out on the first Thursday in each month. A copy of it can be found by clicking on the 'News' button and scrolling down until you find 'News and Views'.
